al-Tirmidhi ( 806 ) narrated that Abu Dharr ( may Allaah be delighted with him ) told: The Courier of Allaah ( peace and approvals of Allaah be upon him ) stated: `` Whoever prays qiyaam - Explorer, Taraweeh - with the imaum until he completes, it will be entered as if he passed the whole dark in supplication
</div>
What is intended is encouragement not to leave before the supplications are finished, even if there is more one imaum.
Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen ( may Allaah hold clemency on him ) was inquired: Some people in al-Masjid al-Haraam pray qiyaam and not Taraweeh on the evidences that they are following the Sunnah and not making more 11 rak'ahs. What is your view?
He responded:
What I conceive is that a mortal should make both Taraweeh and qiyaam, so he should pray with the first imaum until he completes, and pray with the 2nd imaum until he completes, because holding a figure of imaums in one spot intends that it is as if the two imaums are one imaum, as if the 2d imaum is corresponding the first imaum in the posterior supplications. What I conceive in that instance is that one should remain and pray with both the first and 2nd imaums so that he will be included in the words of the Seer ( peace and approvals of Allaah be upon him ): `` Whoever stands ( and prays ) with the imaum until he completes, Allaah will enter for him ( a payoff ) as if he passed the whole dark in supplication. '' Terminal quote.
Majmoo ' Fataawa Ibn Uthaymeen ( 14/190 ).
If there are two imaums in one mosque, should they be take to be separate or is one the deputy of the other?
It appears that the 2d option is right, that one of them is the deputy of the other and completes ( the supplication ) on his behalf. Based on this, if two imaums pray in the mosque, so these two imaums are to be take to be if there was one imaum, so a someone should remain until the 2d imaum coatings, because we cognise that the 2d one is finishing the supplication of the first one. Terminal quote.
Majma ' Fataawa Ibn Uthaymeen ( 14/207 ).
Adding another rak'ah to the imaam 's witr because one desires to pray some more
Some people, when they pray witr with the imaam and he states salaam, they get upward and make another rak'ah, because they desire to make more supplications before praying witr subsequently in the nighttime. What is the opinion on this action? Is it regarded to be deserting the supplication with the imaam?
Praise be to Allaah.
We make not see anything incorrect with this, and the ulema ' sayed that there is cypher incorrect with making this, so that his witr will be at the terminal of the dark. He will be seen to hold prayed with the imaam until he completed, because he rested with him until he completed, and added another rak'ah for a shar'i ground, which was so that he could pray witr subsequently in the dark
There is null incorrect with this, and it makes not intend that he maked not remain with the imaam until he completed, but he maked not complete with him - he detained it a bit longer.

If person desires to complete the Salaatul Witr with the Imaam, then pray more raka'ahs afterward in the dark, this is likewise allowable.
Q:
If I doed `Isha ' ( Dark ) Supplication and Tarawih ( special superfluous dark Supplication in Ramadan ) in Ramadan and at other times, so i offered Witr ( Supplication with an uneven figure of units ) before hit the hay, and so i woke upward to offer Tahajjud ( optional late dark Supplication ), should i reiterate Witr supplication, or what should I make, as the Seer ( peace be upon him ) stated, Make Witr
(odd prayer) your last prayer at night. Please advise, may Allah honor you!
A:
It is impermissible for you to restate Witr, for the Hadith which provinces: (There are) no two Witrs
(to be offered) during one night [ 1 ] Notwithstanding, if you desire to offer extra supplications, you are entitled to make that as you wish, but without retellling the Witr supplication.
May Allah grant us success! May peace and approvings be upon our Seer Muhammad, his home and Associates!
